Which is another thing, if you play your favorite with mods, which ones do you use? I was currently looking at PSCO1 CockpitMod for X3: Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude (it is compatible with both, right?), and then it had a separate download for one if you use XTended for X3 Reunion. This is an update for version 3.0 onwards. I want to know, which has the best content as in story, weapons, ships, and which has the best mods. After certain sectors are discovered and the player gets a certain reputation with factions the main plots will unlock.

Which one would be the easiest one to just pick up having never played an X game (but has played Freelancer and X-Wing/Tie Fighter games)? The universe in the xtended mod starts out in a new 'expansion region' with just a few sectors that the races quickly claimed for themselve and begin to open up new jumpgates from there on. there's an extended mod in the works for TC, and 2.0 is coming out soon. The main difference between them is the interface.
